Kathy Fox (Head Pro)

Kathy has been coaching at Westwood since 1986. 
She brings a wealth of experience with her to the club.  Before coming to Westwood, she was the assistant pro at Cedar Springs Racquet Club in Ontario for 3 years, the Head Pro at the Racquet Club of Victoria for 2 years and Richmond Country Club for 3 years.  She has taught all ages from 3 to 85 years.
Kathy is a certified Tennis Canada Level 3 Professional.  She is a member of the Coaches Association of B.C. and a member in good standing with the Tennis Professionals Association of Canada.
As a junior, she was ranked  #1 in Canada in U12s, U14s, and U18s.  She played pro circuits in the U.S., England and Canada.  Kathy attended Lamar University in Texas on a tennis scholarship for 3 years, and was ranked 5th in Canada in the Open Division.
In 1995/1996 she represented Canada on the Young Cup team in Austria and Germany.

Gerald Yung

Gerald was a nationally ranked junior from 1978-1982 and a national Doubles champ in 1981. He then went to the University of California, Berkeley where he played collegiate tennis and his team was consistently ranked in the top 15 in the US.

Played professional tennis on circuits in Asia US and Canada, taught tennis in Vail, Hong Kong and was on the Singapore Davis cup team in 1998.
He will be working with the juniors to improve their mental toughness, drills and competitive situations.
